Lumina PTE is an independent practice platform with 1,336 questions across 22 PTE Academic task types, 15 full mocks, audio recordings and diagrams. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Pearson.
Your practice feedback
Explore the library, record speaking responses, check your answers, try timed mocks and track your progress. Marking uses answer keys and local practice checks for written and spoken responses. Speaking includes estimated content, delivery and sound matching where usable evidence is available. These estimates are not official PTE scores or predictions.
Computer Chrome is recommended for speaking assessment. Phone recording, speech recognition and model performance can vary. Review recognised words if a result looks wrong. Missing or unusable audio cannot receive a genuine sound assessment. Question audio uses synthetic practice narration.
Signed-in accounts
A verified account is required to use the practice workspace. Your goals, bookmarks, submitted responses, practice marks and mock history are saved privately in Supabase against your account. Saved speaking recordings are uploaded to private account storage so you can replay and reassess them on another device. Wait for saving and assessment to finish before closing the page; failed uploads or interrupted marking are reported in the app.
Browser speech recognition may send audio to your browser provider’s speech service. The saved-audio transcription fallback and sound-matching model process audio on your device. Their first use downloads model files, which your browser may cache. Account storage of recordings is separate from these local marking checks.
Existing guest progress
Guest preferences are stored in local storage, and guest history and recordings are stored in IndexedDB in the browser where they were created. Guest progress does not transfer to another device automatically. Signing in does not silently assign old guest responses to an account. Clearing browser data can remove guest records and local copies. Export history you want to keep before clearing site data; JSON exports do not include audio recordings.
Membership and payments
Free includes all published practice questions and mocks for verified account holders, with no payment card required. Complete is an optional A$15 monthly subscription that renews until cancelled; it currently includes the same published practice and mocks without additional feature restrictions. Checkout and billing management use Stripe. Lumina does not store your full card details. See Membership for current pricing and terms.
Optional website analytics
If you opt in on the homepage, Google Analytics helps us understand public homepage visits. We do not send answers, recordings, scores, account details, query strings or private workspace URLs. You can reject or withdraw consent through Analytics preferences on the homepage.
